I am pleased to inform you that Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University (KU) is organizing the Pure and Applied Chemistry Conference 2008 (PACCON 2008) from Jan 30 ~ Feb 1, 2008, Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand under the auspices of the Chemical Society of Thailand (CST). PACCON 2008 will be the Meeting of top scientists from all over the world. With the theme, "Chemistry for Sufficiency and Sustainability", PACCON 2008 will discuss the latest in chemical research, development and education with special emphasis on sustainable development and improving the quality of life. We are planning a scientific programme that covers all areas of chemistry and chemistry-related disciplines. The Programme comprises the following: Keynote Speaker/Plenary Lectures The following 13 Scientific Sessions Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Material Science and Nanotechnology, Biological / Biophysical Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Bio / Cheminformatics, Polymer Chemistry, Petroleum Chemistry and Catalysis, Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Education, Cosmetic, Industrial Chemistry and Innovation Eminent scientists have been invited to present Plenary and Keynote lectures in PACCON 2008. An exhibition on Chemicals and Instrumentation will also be held as part of PACCON 2008.
