Battelle-Korea has an exciting opportunity for a Researcher with the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities
• Conduct Polymerization reactions to produce novel materials.
• Derivatized monomer compounds.
• Synthesize materials required for our developing.
• Investigations on polymer processing (thin film application, especially conducting polymer property improvement for its application).
• Expected to carry out reactions in organic chemistry in multi- disciplinary areas.
• Characterization and ability to use computational modeling tools to study structure-property relationships in polymers.
• Additional responsibilities of formulating research plans, managing research programs, and interacting with external partners and clients.
Minimum Requirements:
M.S. or Ph.D., degree in Organic chemistry with preferred focus on Polymer science, or minimum three to five years experience in the related area.
Disciplined in Polymer/Organic Science.
Responsible for creating new Polymers and Polymer Structures that support efforts leading the developing of novel technologies.
Conducting scientific investigations on Polymer/Surface/Organic Chemistry.
The candidate who has experience in conducting polymer synthesis, characterization, polymer processing is preferred.
Well-developed interpersonal skills as well as ability to work independently.
Good oral and written communication skills in Korean and English.
